Charcuterie boards and now even butter boards are super trendy! I’ve noticed lots of gorgeous Valentine’s Dessert or candy board ideas, but not as many Valentine’s Day Breakfast ideas.
So I decided to make one! I did a Valentine’s Day breakfast board last year for my family and they loved it!
I added in some fun new ideas this year and I can’t wait to share them with you!

Heart Shaped Food
I made these pancake, egg and heart waffles with a heart shaped waffle iron and silicone heart shaped molds.
I thought they all turned out cute but I will say the heart shaped waffle iron was a lot easier to use!
If you don’t have either, you could always make regular waffles & pancakes and eggs and then punch out heart shapes with heart shaped cookie cutters.
These are the ones we have and that I used for other parts of the Valentine breakfast, like cutting out a heart shaped piece of brie cheese and filling it with raspberry jam.

Valentine Themed Kitchen Decor and Accessories
Your Valentine’s Day breakfast will feel extra special with some holiday touches like valentine dish towels, decor like wooden conversation hearts, heart shaped plates and napkins, and scattering around your table or entertaining area with foam hearts and doilies.
A heart banner looks super cute, along with other heart shaped items, like this wooden cutting board and these adorable pink heart dessert spoons.

Other Valentine Breakfast Entertaining Tips
- Use pink or red plates, saucers or platters to add Valentine’s Day colors to your breakfast setup
- Heart shaped cookie cutters can also be used on a board by filling the centers with non liquid items like dry cereal and other treats
- Add pink and red candy or conversation hearts to your Valentines breakfast
- Pink and red fruit such as raspberries, watermelon and strawberries go great on a breakfast board; you can also add in cookies, cakes and other treats with the pink/red/white colors to stay within a festive color scheme.
