Raise your hand if Jell-O was one of your favorite desserts as a kid!
Me too!
And I just LOVED when my mom made Jell-O Jigglers. They were so much fun to eat!
I’ve been wanting to use my heart-shaped cookie cutters to make some heart shaped Jell-O jigglers with my little ones. So we decided to make them one afternoon before Valentine’s Day.
They turned out great! And we had SO much fun making them. I felt like a kid again myself. It’s such a great activity for toddlers and moms (or dads) to do together!
If you’re curious to how they turned out, keep scrolling to see how we made them!

Heart Shaped Jell-O Jigglers:
We made 2 batches of Jigglers: one watermelon (pink) and the other cherry (red). The recipe for Jigglers is usually on the side of the Jell-O box but you can also find the link to the Jiggler recipe here. It’s different from regular Jell-O because it only calls for boiling water (no cold needed.) Besides getting the Jell-O all you need is water–can’t get any easier than that.
What You’ll Need to make Your Heart-Shaped Jell-O Jigglers:

How to Make the Heart Shaped Jigglers:
We poured the hot water into the mixing bowl to dissolve the powder and then poured that mixture into a 9 x 13 glass casserole dish (shown below.)
The glass dish with Jell-O was put into the refrigerator for a few hours until the Jell-O became more solidified.
Before using the cutters to cut out the heart shapes, we dipped the bottom of the glass dish into a pan of warm water for about 15 seconds to loosen it a bit.
