Leggings Halloween Costumes for Women

If you’re thinking about dressing up for Halloween and haven’t gotten a costume yet, I’ve got 4 simple, easy and inexpensive leggings Halloween Costumes for Women that I think you’re gonna love!

The best part is, you probably already own many of the pieces already!

I’m going to show you how to create four Halloween costumes (a bat, a cat, a witch and a butterfly) using black leggings, a black sweater or turtleneck, and a black tank/camisole.

Pair these with black heels, boots or sandals and add a few accessories to complete the look.

Leggings Halloween Costumes for Women

What I love most about these Halloween costume ideas is that you can take some of the pieces of your Fall wardrobe and turn them into your Halloween costume with the addition of a few simple accessories.

Any black leggings will work for these costume ideas, but I used my SPANX faux leather leggings; the classic faux leather leggings as well as my faux leather moto leggings.

If I were going to wear plain black leggings, this pair are my favorite leggings from Amazon! I love them so much, I own them in several colors:)

BAT COSTUME

For the bat costume I paired my black batwing sweater with my faux leather leggings. I added combat boots and a bat headband and batwings. The headbands come in a pack of three and the batwings come in a pack of two (one adult and one child set of wings).

BUTTERFLY COSTUME

For the butterfly costume, I chose a black turtleneck, faux leather leggings, and over the knee boots. I paired it with some butterfly wings and a butterfly antennae headband. The headband comes in a set with a pair of lace gloves and a butterfly mask.

WITCH COSTUME

Using the same black batwing sweater and faux leather leggings as the bat costume, I swapped out the combat boots for a pair of black booties. The only other things I added were a witch hat and plastic witch broom from Amazon. The broom comes with several different colored ribbons. I liked that you get a few choices; I chose purple to match the witch hat.

CAT COSTUME

I thought my faux leather moto leggings would look good for the cat costume. Note: I sized up one size in the moto leggings because they have a seam that goes across the back of the knee and I didn’t want them to be too tight. I paired it with a black camisole but you could also do a sweater, long sleeve shirt or tank top depending on the weather where you live and your personal preference. Next I added some black sandals along with a cat ears headband, mask and choker necklace that all come as a set.
