I wanted to make some fun and festive Halloween cupcakes for the kids this year, but I wanted to make ones that were also EASY.
Today I’m showing you 4 easy Halloween cupcakes you can make at home with some simple ingredients.
We are going to make a mummy cupcake spiderweb cupcake, spider cupcake and a ghost cupcake.
I kept it simple by getting boxed cake mix and some fun Halloween treats as decorations.

Halloween Cupcakes
These cupcakes were so much fun to make and are ridiculously easy!
You can’t mess them up!
I’ve listed the four Halloween cupcakes below that I made.
The ingredients needed for each are listed under the pictures below. You can click the pictures in the carousel underneath the main picture to shop the ingredients.
Mummy Cupcake
For the mummy cupcake all you need is white icing and candy eyes. I used a piping tip that makes more of a flatter line but there are other ones you can use to get a similar effect.
Just pipe lines back and forth across the cupcake leaving one section opened for some candy eyeballs. I attached the candy eyeballs with a dot of icing on the back of each.
Spider Web Cupcake
These spider web cupcakes were my favorite to make. You ice a cupcake with white icing. Then using a thin tip, pipe a swirl of black icing starting in the center of the cupcake working your way to the outside making circles.
Finally, take a toothpick and drag it lightly through the cupcake end to end in several different spots to create the ‘spiderweb’ look.
Spider Cupcake
This spider cupcake is SO much fun to make! Ice the top of a cupcake with white or vanilla icing. Take the top of an oreo cookie and place on top of icing.
Then using thin black icing, pipe four legs onto each side of the cupcake. Use icing to stick two eyeballs on top of the oreo cookie for eyes.
Ghost Cupcake
This ghost cupcake is SO easy to make: all you need to make them is white icing and mini chocolate chips.
I used a wide round piping tip to make a swirl of white icing. I then pushed two mini chocolate chips into the icing for ghost eyes.
Enjoy these Halloween cupcakes if you decide to try them!
